St. Kitts Tour StoreA new business (owned and run by Kittitians) has started up in Port Zante. The location is right on the main arrivals plaza. The business is called The Tour Store and they will be selling tours for all the main operators in St Kitts. (Scenic Railway, Catamaran, Rain Forest, Island Tours, Deep Sea Fishing, Sea Trek, Kayaking, etc.)They are targeting cruise ship passengers, who they will match up with hotel guests, in order to try and ensure that tour minimums are met. In addition they will establish tour departure times to coincide with the ships arrival & departure times. In this way they are hoping for walk up business from the ships on a daily basis. In addition to the tours they are also selling merchandise such as sunscreen, cameras, tour specific t-shirts from all the various suppliers as well as baseball caps, etc. Their web site is www.stkittstourstore.com |
